SCL's Ana Vranić has won the "Prof. dr Ljubomir Ćirković" foundation award for best MSc thesis defended at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Belgrade between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018. Her MSc thesis on Thermodynamics and Electron Transport in the Hubbard Model on a Triangular Lattice was done at SCL under supervision of Darko Tanasković. Ana is currently pursuing her PhD studies under supervision of Marija Mitrović Dankulov.

The award was presented on 10 October 2018 on the occasion of the day of the Faculty of Physics.
